本品是天然胶、顺丁胶、异戊胶、丁苯胶与再生胶的后效性促进剂，尤其适用于含碱性较强的炭黑胶料。 操作温度下安全，抗焦烧性强、硫化速度快，定伸强度高，能提高合成胶的使用比例。 低毒高效，是NOBS理想替代品，具有优异的综合性能，被称为标准促进剂。 广泛用于子午线轮胎的生产。 可同醛胺、胍类、秋兰姆类促进剂并用，与防焦剂PVI并用时，构成良好的硫化体系。 主要用于轮胎、胶鞋、胶管、胶带、电缆的制造生产。 由2-硫基苯并噻唑（促进剂M）的钠盐与叔丁胺反应而得。 向0.5mol的13%促进剂M的钠盐溶液中慢慢加入0.75mol叔丁胺，半小时后加入0.36mol的25%硫酸溶液，在45-50℃反应0.5h。 再在2h内加入0.6mol15%次氯酸钠。 反应后冷却、甩滤、洗涤，50℃以下干燥得产品。
