Rhenogran TMTD is used as a primary accelerator in combination with sulfur, as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with thiazoles and as a curing agent without sulfur. Sulfurless cure or low sulfur vulcanization provide heat resistant vulcanizates with good ageing properties.
