Rhenogran TBzTD-70 is used as a primary accelerator in the presence of sulfur, as a secondary accelerator with thiazoles and as a sulfur-free vulcanizing agent. Crosslinking without free sulfur or low-sulfur crosslinking produce extremely heat-resistant vulcanizates with good ageing characteristics.

Rhenogran TBzTD–70 forms no carcinogenic nitrosamines within the meaning of TRGS 552. The addi- tion of mercapto or sulphonamide accelerators decelerates the vulcanization process.
